Teresa Caro named president of Chattanooga’s largest ad agency

Chattanooga’s largest ad agency has hired a 30-year industry veteran as president to help accelerate the company’s digital innovation.
Teresa Caro, a top marketing executive in Atlanta for companies such as Sagepath Reply, Luckie, Atlanticus, Shoutlet and Moxie for the past decade, is the new president of the Johnson Group in Chattanooga.
Joe Johnson, founder and CEO of The Johnson Group, said Caro would help “steer and motivate new thinking and cutting-edge branch marketing” as head of the 80-staff agency.

During her marketing work with dozens of companies, Caro has won numerous awards including Cannes Lion, Effie Clio, Radio Mercury Award and Communication Arts.
“My whole career has brought me to this inflection point,” Caro said in a statement about her new job. “I’ve taken well-established brands and been that trend-spotter to help them achieve their growth goals while keeping who they are at their core.”
In a phone interview, Caro said she was impressed with the people and the diversity of skill sets at the Johnson Group.
