The Rand Show 2022 (April 13-18) brings back the “best day in South Africa” with a bang. The LHWP is a key program that aims to address the ongoing water crisis in Gauteng, providing the province with much needed water for domestic and industrial use, the well-being of many affected communities being in play.
In addition to the educational aspect of the exhibition, visitors will be able to taste the famous Maluti beer during a daily beer tasting at the stand. This will run from 1 to 3 p.m. daily. Water is a finite resource, and the proper management of shared water sources for sustainable economic growth is the ultimate goal of LHWP. Ilembu Mwakalumbwa of LHWP says, “A model on the stand will help people visualize how water is transferred from Katse to South Africa (Water’s Journey to RSA), which is great to see.
“Conserving the environment is key to water security and is a shared responsibility. Our project aims to make water more accessible to all South Africans, as it can be a vital tool for the regional integration.

Lesotho has the perfect blend of natural, cultural and historical destinations that make the “the envy of many other countries.
